ABOUT ME
I'd like to introduce myself and let you get to know me a little better.
My name is Meredith Bowles, and I graduated from Alma College with a Bachelors of Arts in communications and a minor in dance in May of 2021. I have a passion for communications, and a keen interest in social media management/marketing, public relations, and crisis communications. I have years of experience working with public relations and social media, dating back to high school when I participated in a class drafting social media stories and posts for Howell High School, to single-handedly running all of the social media for my sorority Alpha Xi Delta. I've also completed multiple internships gaining hands on experience in marketing and customer service.
My approach to the field of communications is very interpersonal. With the work I've done, I've found it extremely important to show community. What an organization stands for, what they do, what they're made of. I aim to show the relationships and connections made within a given organization as well. I believe focusing on this builds a stronger, and more transparent relationship with the respected public.
Aside from my interest in social media management, marketing, and communications, in my free time I enjoy baking, yoga, dancing, makeup, and traveling. I strongly believe in always trying new things!
